The Client: City of Huntsville, Alabama
Huntsville, Alabama is one of the most recognized cities in the Southeast — consistently named as one of the best places to live and work by a variety of national publications. Huntsville offers a broad base of manufacturing, retail and service industries and a quality of life that is second to none.

The Problem:
As one of the southeast's fastest growing cities, the city of Huntsville realized the need for a strong E-government system that would allow the public to perform many services online.

The first initiative was the payment of parking and speeding tickets online. After reviewing a number of off-the-shelf and transactional-based products that could not be customized to their specific needs, the City turned to Digital Graphiti for a custom solution.

The Solution: Online Ticket Payment System
Using state-of-the-art .NET technology, Digital Graphiti created a web services application using a secure server that allows citizens to pay parking and speeding tickets online using a credit card. The user visits the City's website and enters the ticket number, then proceeds thru a simple payment process without ever having to set foot in court.
